Cultural-Historical
Any U.S. president has made this 132-room mansion his residence after John Adams. The Gold-and-White East Room, where state dinners and luncheons are held, is the star. The grounds for special occasions such as Tee-ball on the South Lawn are periodically opened. For children from three to six, the Easter Egg Roll is held every Easter Monday. The White House is still the primary symbol of the President of the United States.
