Description

Prague's central boulevard and main public square is Wenceslas Square. Originally laid out as the centerpiece of the Nov Msto (New Town) of King Charles in the 14th century, the square was used as a horse market. The striking Neo-Renaissance façade of the Prague National Museum, with its famed dome, looms at the top of the square.
