The national government of South Africa is located in the Union Buildings in Pretoria. The amphitheater was renamed in 2013 as the Nelson Mandela Amphitheatre. In front of the house now stands a 29.5-foot-tall statue of Mandela. If the president is present, the flag of the nation flies over the left wing.
