Description

Two sun goddesses are enshrined here, and three gods of life and rising. Together, these gods are believed to be matchmakers. Tokyo Daijingu Shrine, close to the popular Ise Jingo Shrine in Mie Prefecture, was established in 1880. The venue for the first formal Shinto wedding ceremony is thought to have been.
