Cultural-Historical, Nature
Founded by the King of Karangsem in 1946, Tirtagangga means "water from the Ganges" and was almost totally destroyed by the 1963 eruption of Mount Agung. This rare location, located on the edge of Rejasa natural springs, contains three tiers of ornamental gardens. On the lowest level, where waters flow to neighboring rice paddies, the biggest pond is situated. The upper floor has a soothing tub, ideal for a swim in the afternoon.
