Nature
Established in 1752, Vienna Zoo houses some 750 animals of all shapes and sizes. The architecture of the zoo is reminiscent of a bicycle wheel, with spokes and an octagonal pavilion at the middle of the paths.Giant pandas were the most recent arrivals to arouse crowds in 2003 and baby Serbian tigers in 2006. The pavilion dates from 1759 and was used as the imperial breakfast room; a fine restaurant is now housed in it.
