The Blue House of Seoul is named for the blue tiles which cover the roof. The Blue Building, which was designed in the traditional Korean architecture style, has over 150,000 tiles on its roof. There, the President of the Republic of Korea stays and carries out business. In an old Joseon Dynasty royal garden with Mount Bugaksan as its backdrop, the Blue House stands.
