Cultural-Historical, Religious
Krakow's Spel Synagogue is the only synagogue in Kazimierz, the Jewish neighborhood of Krakow, which is still functioning. It was destroyed when the Nazis used it to store ammunition during World War II. The comparison between the austere façade and the gilded woodwork and ceiling is worth seeing.
