El Teide, Spain's tallest volcano, has its own cable car operation. In just 8 minutes, the cable car brings tourists to the upper station, 3,718 meters high. There are three separate viewing points for views of the volcano and the surrounding area from there. A special permit includes the summit walk, which can be purchased in advance for a fee. The volcano has seven active volcanoes in total.
