Description

In the late 1920s, Takerkoust Lake was a manmade dam constructed by the French to supply Marrakech with water and electricity. It is now an important leisure area and during the summer it draws both locals and visitors. Popular pastimes include water sports such as jet skiing, wake-boarding and kayaking. A stunning view of the nearby desert and mountains is offered by the lakeside.
