Description

Sydney Town Hall, built in the 1880s, is a political powerhouse in the heart of the central business district of the city. The building houses the largest pipe organ in the world, as well as the offices of the lord mayor, deputy lord mayor and councilors. The building's two-hour guided tours include a stop at the world-renowned organ and Centennial Hall. A common tourist attraction is the former site of the Old Sydney Burial Ground.
