Description

St Peter's Church in Vienna is also known as Peterskirche and is the second oldest church in the region. It was Vienna's first domed building, with an ornate interior adorned with bright frescoes and gold stucco. Charlemagne was rumored to have set up the original church building, but it burned down in 1661.
