The oldest church in Zurich is St Peter's Church, also known as St Peterskirche. It was built in the 9th century for the first time, but was altered in the 13th century and in the 17th century again. With a diameter of 28.5 ft, the spire has the highest church clock face in Europe (8.7 m)
