Description

One of Japan's most prominent shrines is the Shrine of Tsuragoaka Hachimangu. It was founded in 1063 by Minamoto Yoriyoshi. The perfect time to visit is when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in early spring. The city is a popular place for weddings and hatsumode, horse archery, and has over 75 temples and shrines.
