Nature, Waterfall
Shifen Waterfall is Taiwan's biggest waterfall and one of the country's most popular. In a deep pool, torrents of water plunge, raising a mist shroud that produces a blinding rainbow effect. In a cascade style similar to that of Niagara Falls, the waterfall rocks slope in the opposite direction to the flow of the river, giving it the nickname, Little Niagara of Taiwan.
