Only in 2012 did the new Seoul City Hall open for service. The 13-story building was built to represent the Hanok houses of Korea and their typical horizon and deep shadow ideas. The old City Hall building now houses more than 70,000 area and global works of the Seoul Metropolitan Public Library.
