Description

The Church of San Agustin is an example of Baroque architecture unique to the Philippines. In the sixteenth century, it was designed by the Spanish and dedicated in 1607. It houses the tombs, including several conquistadors, statesmen and writers, of several historical figures. Art and objects from the Philippines, Spain, Mexico and other cultural centres are displayed in the following museum.
