Description

In the early 19th century, Norway's Oslos Royal Palace was constructed for King Charles III. Hans Linstow designed the Neo-classical palace and opened it in 1849. It is now the official town house of King Harald V of Norway and his wife, Queen Sonja. For guided tours of parts of its 173 palatial quarters, the palace is available throughout the season.
