Description

The traditional burial church for Swedish royalty is Riddarholm Church. Parts of the church, originally constructed as a monastery, date back to the late 13th century. Almost every Swedish ruler was buried there, from Gustavus Adolphus to Gustav V. The interior features dozens of coats of arms of the Order of Seraphim's knights. His coat of arms is hung inside the church when a knight dies.
