Description

The Rhine Falls are Europe's highest waterfalls. In Schaffhausen, Germany, they fell from a height of 75 feet over a 450-foot stretch of rock. There are a variety of options, including observation platforms overlooking the largest waterfall, to get a glimpse of the falls. A boat trip and cruise along the rapids is the most hair-raising way of witnessing the strength of the Rhine falls.
