Cultural-Historical, Religious
One of the two functioning synagogues in Krakow is the Remuh Synagogue. It is the location of the last well-preserved Jewish Renaissance cemetery in the whole of Europe. During World War II, it was used as a storehouse by Germans and stripped of its ritual artifacts and furnishings, while the building itself was spared.
