Description

Purana Qila is one of Delhi's oldest buildings and its oldest standing fortress. It was constructed in the middle of a power struggle between him and Humayun, the son of Babur, the first Mughal emperor, during the reign of the Afghan ruler Sher Shah between 1538 and 1545.
