Melchior Hefele's Neo-classical palace was designed in 1781 for Hungarian Archbishop Já3zsef Batthyíny. The palace is located in Bratislava's Old District, behind the Old Town Hall at Primaci*lne nÃ*mestie. It was designed as a residence appropriate for the Archbishop who, above the main entrance, held his coat of arms.
