Cultural-Historical, Movie-Theater
One of the capital's most prominent and culturally significant buildings is the Prague National Theatre (Narodni divadlo). The National Theatre, built in 1883 when the country was under Austrian control, was initially denied support by the Vienna government. The theatre is a masterpiece by the Czech architect Josef Ztek, who designed a romantic faade of the neo-Renaissance.
