Description

The length of the Oslo Fjord is 68 miles (107 km) and is better explored by sea. Around a dozen islets spread out into the fjord, with islets, rocky coves, and narrow pockets of sand openly dispersed. The bulk of the islets can be reached from Vippetangen on the Oslo waterfront in around 20 minutes. On Hoved1ya, there is a deserted Cistercian monastery and on Bleik'ya, a wildlife sanctuary for wading birds.
