The National Anthropology Museum holds the world's largest collection of traditional Mexican art. The 23 permanent exhibition halls in each of the museums are devoted to a particular cultural area or indigenous tribe. The most prominent piece of ancient Mexican art is the Aztec Stone of the Light.
