Cultural-Historical
The nucleus of Japanese politics is the National Diet Building. It houses both of the Diet's chambers, or legislative arm. The house, built in 1936, is almost entirely made out of Japanese materials. It is iconic for its pyramid-shaped dome, which at its completion made it Japan's tallest structure.
