Cultural-Historical
The Municipal House in Prague is one of the most prominent Art Nouveau civic buildings in the region. Founded between 1905 and 1911, it soon became a formidable emblem of the independence of Czechoslovakia. Today, the Smetana Concert Hall, several restaurants and temporary art shows are located in the building. It is a view of complex stained-glass windows with designs, ornate stonework and gold-flecked frescoes.
