Molly Malone Statue

This song was introduced as the unofficial anthem of Dublin, boosting this heroine to everlasting fame. Molly Malone is the young lady featuring in the local ballad,' Cockles and Mussels.' On the intersection of Grafton and Suffolk streets, a statue of Molly Malone was erected in 1988. June 13th in Dublin is National Molly Malone Day, where the monument sits.
