The first and main cathedral in the Americas is Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral. Seat of Mexico's Archdiocese. Composed into several facades over 4 decades. Twenty-five bells - weighed in tons - ring and sing throughout the city. Any 16 chapels, some alters and retablos are sheltered within its fantastic bulk.
