Cultural-Historical
The Maison Tavel in Geneva is Geneva's oldest example of domestic architecture. The house dates from the 14th century and is the oldest private residence in the region. The cellar holds excellent specimens of centuries of woodcarving and ironwork. The attic boasts a splendid mid-19th century model of Geneva, when its fortifications were still intact.
