Cultural-Historical, Temple-Tomb
Longshan is the oldest and most prominent temple in Taipei, dating back to the early 18th century, when settlers from mainland China first founded it. The amazingly ornate carvings and other architectural items on show are never unmoved by tourists. There are also the formal gateways, sleek pagoda roofs and heady incense burners.
