Description

In 1878, when a vessel carrying colonists from England to Melbourne was sadly sunk on the cliffs, Loch Ard Gorge was the site of a tragic shipwreck. A series of stairs leads to a sheltered beach tucked under the towering, sculpted bluffs of time. Summer days are an invitation to picnic, swim and sunbathe, and a natural amphitheater of coastal beauty around you is formed by striated cliffs.
