Cultural-Historical
Lobkowicz Palace is the only structure in the Prague Castle complex that is privately owned. The Baroque palace was built for the Czech nobleman Jaroslav of Perntejn in the mid-16th century. Via a dynastic marriage in 1603, the aristocratic Lobkowicz family took over the Palace. The private art collection in the Czech Republic is the largest and has been extended for over 600 years.
