Description

Lake Geneva is land-locked and is the main body of water in Switzerland. Its southern shore lies entirely in French territory, but it is surrounded by the Alps. The lake's western end is occupied by the city of Geneva. Further east, before landing in Montreux, you pass through Vevey, the center of the Swiss Riviera.
