Kecskemet, situated approximately 50 miles from Budapest, is the eighth largest city in Hungary. It is best known for its museums, apricot brandy, and art nouveau and secessionist architecture. A prime instance of Hungarian secessionist architecture is the Ornamental Palace. There are more than a dozen other museums, including a toy workshop and a zoo, to take up your time in the area.
