Cultural-Historical
Kazimierz was an autonomous city with its own civic charter and rules for a long time. The colorful history was characterized by its Jewish-Polish community mixed together. The western section of the town is divided by Christian and Jewish quarters. The Jewish quarter is one of the most popular tourist sights in the region, with its many churches and synagogues.
