Description

After being commissioned by Sultan Abdulmecit, Kucuksu Palace was built in the mid-1800s. It was used by the Ottoman sultans as a summer palace where they went to hunt and rest.With traditional furniture and a large array of artwork, the palace also represents a stately Turkish home from the 19th and 20th centuries. The faade and interior combine with elaborate carvings both European and Ottoman designs from the time period.
