Mountain, Nature
The Iztacchuatl Volcano is the third-highest mountain in Mexico City. Named for its similarity to a sleeping lady, Iztacc-huatl translates into a white woman from the Nahuatl language. The permanently snow-capped summit provides breathtaking views of Popocatepetl and the Mexico Valley below. At 12,000 feet, hiking trails lead from La Joya to the summit (3,700 meters)
