Description

In the 1930s, in preparation for World War II, the Hospital in the Rock was built inside the hill under Buda Castle. The hospital operated mostly during the Siege of Budapest in 1944 and 1945. During the Soviet War, it was used again in 1956 and was later repurposed as a nuclear bunker. The present exhibits house anti-radiation kits and devices for Soviet espionage.
