Description

The population of endangered white-handed gibbons in the Honolulu Zoos is a familiar sight to surfers in Waikiki. More than 900 native species are home to the vast 42-acre open-air zoo. The zoo also contains birds, including the state pigeon, the nn, only present in Hawaii.
