Cultural-Historical
The Governors' Palace was the official residence of the Colony of Virginia's Royal Governors. In the palace, Thomas Jefferson was the last governor to survive. The main house burnt down in 1781, but much of its original grandeur has since been rebuilt. The led 30-minute tour brings tourists back to the beginning of the 18th century.
