Description

The Golden Lane is a narrow alley near Prague Castle and one of the city's most popular and picturesque avenues. It was built as an alley between the Roman and Late Gothic walls in the northern part of the castle in the 15th century. The alley became popular with artists and a variety of goldsmiths were among them.
