Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was born in 1749 at Frankfurt's Goethe House. Technically, the house was Goethe's parents', and he lived there until 1765, when he moved to Weimar. The major attributes include Goethe's first writing desk and the library where he composed The Young Werther's Sorrows. The museum is a photo gallery devoted to the Goethe age.
