Cultural-Historical
The main gate to Gyeongbukgung Palace, the largest of Seoul's five Joseon Dynasty palaces, is Gwanghwamun. Originally built in 1395 by the first king of Joseon, the gate was demolished twice during the history of Joseon. It was restored using concrete and steel in 1968, and in 2006 it moved back to its original site.
