Description

In New Delhi, India, Mahatma Gandhi spent his last 144 days at the Gandhi Smriti. The place was originally the residence of the Birla dynasty, the Indian company tycoons. It is now home to the Interactive Museum of the Everlasting Gandhi, which opened in 2005. Concrete steps lead to the spot where Gandhi, marked by a small pavilion, was destroyed.
