Fulong Beach is Taipei's most popular and most accessible beach. It has a sandy waterfront of 1.8 miles and clean, calm waters. The beach is popular, especially in the summer, with sunbathers, surfers and sailers. Between Fulong Beach and Daxi to the south, the 5.3 mile (8.5-kilometer) Caoling Historic Trail extends.
