El Badi Palace is an open-air account of Marrakech's successive dynasties that have held sway. It was founded by King Ahmad al-Mansur of the Saadi dynasty in the late 16th century. Also on show is the elaborate Koutobia minbar (the pulpit-like stairway from which the imam preaches in the mosque).
