
Cultural-Historical, Monument, Museum
In 1971, the F.M. Dostoevsky Literary Memorial Museum opened. It is housed in the apartment where, in 1846, the author lived and published his last book, The Karamazov Twins. The museum library contains about 24,000 volumes, and there is a large selection of graphic and applied art and a collection of images in the museum collection.
