Description

In the heart of Melbourne, Degraves Street passes between Flinders Street and Flinders Lane. It was named after two early merchants who came to Melbourne in 1849 from Hobart. The street is framed by tall, old-style buildings, with stores, bars, cafes and more lining the ground floor, and upstairs apartments. The features of Degraves Street are the bluestone cobbles and the elegance of another country. One of the most unique arcades in Melbourne is the lane.
